Zoutelande

Zoutelande, also known as the Zeeland Rivièra, is dé seaside resort of Walcheren. Located directly behind the long, high dunes. Full of sunny terraces, cozy restaurants and wonderful walking opportunities. Get a nice ice cream, drink a cold beer on the terrace or take a long walk on the vast sandy beach. From Houtenburg, by bike, you are within 5 minutes in the center of this fine coastal town. Need a break from the hustle and bustle? At our campsite you can camp in peace and quiet, the best of both worlds!

Middelburg

The capital of ‘The Zeeland’or ‘Little Amsterdam’of Zeeland…We are talking about historic Middelburg, loved by its inhabitants and the many tourists who visit the city. A place not to be missed during a vacation on the south coast. Stroll through the old, narrow streets, take a cruise on the canals and take a look at the famous stores or cute boutiques. Do you dare to climb the Lange Jan of no less than 207 steps? Then you will be surprised with a unique view! Did you know that Middelburg is number 5 of cities in the Netherlands with the most historic buildings. The Lange Jan, the Oostkerk and the Town Hall are some of these.

Flushing

When we think of Vlissingen, we think of the promenade, the beach and of course its maritime history; after all, it is a real port city. During the warm summer months, the boulevard and beaches are popular attractions. Wonderful to spend a day here, watching the big boats go by. You can leave the binoculars at home, as the ships sail right by the shore! Want to learn more about the city? Visit the Zeeuws maritiem muZEEum, an educational outing where you can actively experience history. Interesting for young and old alike! During a ride in the Zonnetrein you will see the center of Vlissingen from a modern solar train. End the day with a snack and a drink? At één of the many catering establishments on the Boulevard or the Bellamypark, culinary enjoyment is guaranteed.

Veere

A small, picturesque town on Lake Veere, where a beautiful marina is therefore not to be missed. From the terraces along the shore you can enjoy a fine view of incoming and outgoing boats. Want to take a trip on the water yourself? Rent a sloop and cruise along the 17 islands. Around the city center you will find the ramparts of Veere. Walking here is excellent; during this walk you will come across several benches with stories about the city's history on them. A little tip for candy lovers: Oma’s Snoepwinkel, a place with more than 100 kinds of old-fashioned candy! During the months of July and August, a visit to the Historical Market is definitely recommended. In short, definitely worth spending a day in Veere.
